Required Skills:
- Valid RN license (Single State RN or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Basic computer skills and comfort with healthcare technology
- Critical thinking and analytical skills for evidence-based nursing practice
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Experience in L&D or maternal care preferred
- Ability to respond calmly and decisively in emergency situations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Prior experience in a fast-paced labor and delivery setting
- Additional certifications such as OB or Fetal Monitoring
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience in labor and delivery or maternal health
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including days (7A-7:30P), weekends (minimum every other weekend), and holidays (minimum 2 major, 2 minor)
- On-call availability as needed
- Must be willing to obtain necessary certifications if not already held
- A completed Wellstar cover sheet is required for each submission
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $46.90, with weekly pay via direct deposit and comprehensive medical benefits (W-2).
