Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and current state license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Certification in NIHSS, PALS, and ACLS
- Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in trauma or disaster response
- Additional certifications related to emergency or critical care
- Bilingual communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree
- Prior experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
- At least two years of emergency nursing experience
Other Requirements:
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, variable shifts over a 13-week assignment
- No local candidates within 50 miles
- Travel reimbursement and licensure/certification expenses covered
- Certification in NIHSS, PALS, ACLS, and BLS required
- Ability to work any shift as needed and adapt to changing patient acuity
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $44.71, providing a competitive compensation package along with weekly pay via direct deposit.
