Position Summary

We are a national commercial roofing company with more than 40 locations across the U.S. and significant opportunities for continued growth. We are seeking an experienced District Sales Manager – Southeast to lead, develop, and grow a team of commercial sales professionals across the region.

This is a hands-on field sales leadership role for an experienced manager who knows how to build high-performing sales teams. The District Sales Manager will recruit, hire, coach, and develop sales professionals while driving profitable growth, pipeline development, sales accountability, and consistent execution of our sales process.

The position partners closely with local Business Unit and Operations leadership to develop opportunities and strengthen relationships with building owners, property managers, facility executives, general contractors, and other key commercial decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop sales professionals across multiple Southeast markets.
Recruit, hire, onboard, and performance-manage sales team members.
Drive district revenue, gross profit, pipeline, and new business growth.
Establish clear sales goals, KPIs, expectations, and accountability.
Conduct regular one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, account planning, and field coaching.
Travel throughout the district to work alongside sales representatives and support strategic customer opportunities.
Ensure consistent execution of sales processes, CRM standards, forecasting, and account-development strategies.
Coach sales representatives to build relationships with key decision-makers and expand high-value and multi-location accounts.
Identify new customers, vertical markets, and growth opportunities.
Partner with Business Unit and Operations leadership to align sales efforts with customer needs, market opportunities, and profitability objectives.
Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and National Sales on broader growth initiatives.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive sales experience with demonstrated sales leadership experience.
Proven ability to recruit, coach, develop, and manage high-performing sales professionals.
Experience leading geographically dispersed or multi-location sales teams preferred.
Commercial roofing, construction, building services, facility services, or related B2B sales experience preferred.
Demonstrated success driving profitable revenue growth and new customer development.
Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
Experience with pipeline management, forecasting, account planning, and sales KPIs.
CRM proficiency required; Salesforce experience preferred.
Strong business acumen, communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
Ability to travel approximately 50% throughout the Southeast.
