Job Description
Title: Respiratory Therapist
Schedule:
- Shift Type: Days
- Schedule: Varied, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in respiratory care
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
- GA RRT license and NBRC - RRT certification
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients.
- Assess patient respiratory status and make appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Compliance / Notes:
- Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
