Job Description Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care UnitSchedule 12-hour day shifts, with schedule varying between 10:30 AM and 11 PM.
Assignment Details Contract length: 16 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
Requirements- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.
- AHA BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- Experience with Cerner EMR.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit.
- Monitor patients' recovery from anesthesia and manage pain control.
- Assess and document patients' conditions and progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Compliance / Notes Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
