Title
Critical Care RN - Travel
Schedule
Weekend: Every other weekend
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year acute care experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Charting system: Epic required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critical care patients across multiple areas including NICU, adult ICU, ED, and basic floor therapy.
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patients for changes in condition.
- Utilize advanced life support and critical care techniques, including ventilator management and airway management.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 12 hours (non-billable)
- Return-to-work (RTO) max: 7 days
- All compliance documents due by Tuesday prior to start date
- Traveler expected to work major holidays that fall in assignment
