ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intensive care and possess skills to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care to individuals in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions, making quick, informed decisions based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit or similar specialty.
- Current certifications in AHA BLS and ACLS.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- CCRN certification is a plus.
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is preferred.
Work Schedule
The position requires a commitment to working 12-hour shifts, with a varying schedule from 0645 to 1915. Additionally, candidates must be willing to work during two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
