A well-established group of independently owned pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential retail pharmacy support initially at one location, with potential to expand into a part-time floater position coveringup to 30-35 hours per week across four nearby pharmacies.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing primary retail pharmacy duties, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications
- Handling an average volume of 100-150 prescriptions per day
- Providing exceptional customer service and patient counseling
- Utilizing pharmacy software to manage prescriptions and inventory, with experience in PrimeRX preferred
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid pharmacist license in good standing
- Prior retail pharmacy experience, ideally with exposure to PrimeRX software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under volume pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Location: Lawrenceville, GA area, with responsibilities across multiple pharmacy locations in the Atlanta metro region.
Schedule/Hours:
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Initially Per Diem with the opportunity to transition into part-time floater role
This position starts as Per Diem support but offers potential growth into a more consistent schedule covering multiple sites operated by a parent group with pharmacies across six states.
