Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the medical-surgical unit. Responsible for implementing medical plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring high standards of care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in medical-surgical nursing.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and holidays.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
