Job Description Job Summary:
Responsible for evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients requiring respiratory therapy. Provides high-quality care by implementing appropriate respiratory interventions and supporting patient recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Assesspatients' respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed.
- Document care provided, patient progress, and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize respiratory care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist within a specialized setting.
- Hold a valid Northside RRT License and NBRC-RRT certification.
- Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Demonstrate excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong understanding of respiratory care equipment and protocols.
