Job Summary:
Seeking a experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to provide comprehensive patient care in a radiation oncology setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy treatments and monitor patient responses.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, wound care, and symptom management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and post-treatment care.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including AHA BLS and ACLS standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and treatment processes.
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 2 years recent experience in Oncology nursing.
- Hold an active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Require current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Certification in Chemotherapy administration required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in oncology treatment procedures and patient education.
- Ability to work scheduled hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
