About the Role
Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Lawrenceville & Dacula is looking for a motivated Plumbing Helper / Apprentice to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn the plumbing trade or build on existing experience while working alongside experienced licensed plumbers.
Pay & Growth
- $18–$22 per hour, based on experience and skill level
- Performance-based raises, bonuses, and incentives
- Hands-on training with experienced plumbers
- Opportunity to advance into a Plumbing Technician / Service Plumber role
Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with residential repairs, installations, and service work
- Help with water heaters, repipes, water lines, sewer/drain work, fixtures, gas piping, and other plumbing projects
- Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
- Assist with digging, demolition, pipe installation, and jobsite cleanup
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Learn plumbing systems, installation methods, safety procedures, and code requirements
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Requirements
- Plumbing, construction, maintenance, or other hands-on trade experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Punctual, reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, outdoors, and on ladders
- Ability to follow instructions, apply what you learn, and work well as part of a team
