Georgia-Licensed Family Law AttorneyOur client is seeking a Georgia-licensed Family Law Attorney to handle divorce, custody, child support, adoption, dependency, and family violence matters in a supportive and collaborative Roswell, GA office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for family law and a commitment to helping families navigate challenging legal situations.The attorney will handle a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, adoptions, dependency cases, and family violence matters. The position offers professional growth, mentorship, and the opportunity to work alongside attorneys practicing in immigration law and criminal defense.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, dependency, and family violence cases.Provide legal counsel and advocacy throughout family law proceedings.Attend court hearings and represent clients as required.Prepare and file petitions, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other stakeholders.Manage client intake and case files.Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents.Collaborate with attorneys in immigration and criminal defense matters when appropriate.Work effectively as part of a team while developing independent case-management skills.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active Georgia Bar admission required.Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred but not required.Prior family law experience is not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle sensitive and high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $90,000-$105,000 per year, based on experience.Bi-weekly payroll.Health insurance.Paid holidays.Paid time off (PTO) accrual.Professional growth and development opportunities.Supportive, team-oriented work environment.Mentorship from experienced attorneys.
