Job DescriptionJob DescriptionStein Law seeks to add an estate planning attorney to our growing firm. Our ideal candidate is an attorney with 3 to 5 years of recent experience in estate planning with taxable estates, with an inclination to learn about federal income tax and entity taxation. This is an on-site, full-time position located in the Sandy Springs, Georgia office.Our Company:Stein Law specializes in estates and trusts, corporate matters, tax controversy, and tax planning, with more than 45 years of combined experience assisting startups, entrepreneurs, and multi- family businesses. Stein Law is a highly collaborative work environment where the individual is valued, and communication is a top priority.Required Qualifications:3-5 years of hands-on experience in estate planning with taxable estates, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trustsExcellent research, writing, and drafting skillsKnowledge of estate, gift, and GST tax implicationsStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external advisorsQualifications:Experience with advanced estate planning structures, including Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs), Spousal Lifetime Access Trusts (SLATs), Spousal Lifetime Access Non-Grantor Trusts (SLANTs), Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts (IDITs), Dynastic Trusts, and offshore TrustsFamiliarity with trust decanting, restructuring, and multi- planning strategiesExperience with trust administration and settlement of complex estatesExposure to or willingness to develop expertise in Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) structures and integration with estate plansResponsibilities:Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts.Advise clients on estate planning strategies, tax implications, and/ or asset protection.Conduct client meetings to understand their goals and provide tailored legal solutions.Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals, such as financial advisors and accountants, to ensure comprehensive client care.Stay current with changes in estate planning laws and regulations.Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters as needed.Research various issues including income, estate, Chapter 14, GSTT, and entity taxation.Profit Sharing PlanPotential origination bonus eligibleBenefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Plan: Employer match up to 4%Insurance: Long-term and short-term coverageLife Insurance: Employer-provided coveragePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysContinuing Legal Education: Covered expenses subject to approvalState Bar Dues: Payment for membership fees#J-18808-Ljbffr
