Job Description
The Strategic Finance Division has a Business Services Associate II vacancy. This position is responsible for performing fiscal support activities related to processing higher-level fiscal documents requiring knowledge and experience in the area of assignment.
Essential DutiesReceiving, coding, processing, and maintaining a variety of purchasing requests, payment requests, maintenance agreements, invoices, accounts receivables, and/or other related documents
Reconciling financial reports against records
Filing and maintaining financial records, logs, and forms
Entering information contained on purchase requests, journal vouchers, capital service requests, work orders, invoices, and/or other related financial documents
Performing a variety of clerical and/ or receptionist functions, which may include typing, answering phones, filing, copying, faxing, opening and distributing mail, and/or performing other related activities
Responding to inquiries from employees, vendors, and/or other interested parties regarding payment, purchase status, and/or other related information
Preparing a variety of reports related to financial activities
Gathering data and information in support of budgetary preparation activities
Performing other duties of a similar nature or level
Public Speaking Duties- Communicating and engaging with staff, citizens, leadership, and elected officials.
GradeThe grade for this position is B211. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, AND
- Three years of bookkeeping, accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
