Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer - Echo Tech - Perform echocardiograms to assess cardiac structures and function
- Utilize Doppler ultrasound to evaluate blood flow
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team to interpret results
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements of the Cardiac Sonographer - Echo Tech - Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty
- BLS certification required
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS
- Additional credential: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent
