Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client an experienced Cost Accounting Manager to lead inventory governance, accuracy, and reporting across manufacturing and distribution operations. This role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Cost Accounting to strengthen controls, improve processes, and ensure accurate inventory reporting and compliance.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Key Responsibilities Lead inventory control policies, procedures, and internal controls across multiple locations.Oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and inventory variance analysis.Develop inventory reporting, KPIs, and dashboards to support operational and financial decision-making.Partner with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Audit teams to improve inventory accuracy and compliance.Support month-end close, inventory valuation, standard costing, and reserve analysis.Drive process improvements, ERP enhancements, and inventory control training initiatives.Qualifications 5+ years of experience in inventory control, cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or supply chain finance.Manufacturing experience required with leadership experience preferred.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, internal controls, reporting, and data analysis.Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and improve business processes.Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance requiredCPA preferredIf eligible under the ACA, medical, dental and vision benefits and time off in accordance with local paid sick time laws will be offered.
