Prospective team members can expect to work in a high-performance environment with a strong emphasis on strategic advocacy and trial readiness.Role DescriptionThe Litigation Associate Attorney will handle a broad range of civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, as well as conducting legal research to support case strategy. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking and defending depositions, attending hearings and conferences, participating in mediations, and preparing cases for trial under the supervision of senior attorneys. The attorney will collaborate closely with clients, partners, and support staff to evaluate risk, develop case themes, and provide timely case updates. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Atlanta, GA, requiring regular presence in local and regional courts and the firm's office. The position offers opportunities for significant responsibility, mentorship, and professional development within a trial-oriented practice.QualificationsStrong foundation in substantive and procedural Law , with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and apply them to litigation matters.Demonstrated experience drafting and arguing Motions , including dispositive and evidentiary motions, in state and/or federal courts.Advanced Research skills using legal research platforms, with a track record of producing clear, well-supported memoranda and briefs.Experience conducting Depositions , including preparation of witnesses and effective examination of parties, fact witnesses, and experts.Familiarity with Courts , including rules of civil procedure, local rules, and courtroom practice for hearings, conferences, and trials.Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active membership, in good standing, with the State Bar of Georgia (or ability to obtain admission promptly).1–3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, commercial litigation, or related practice areas.Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines concurrently.Collaborative mindset, professional judgment, and commitment to ethical practice and client service.#J-18808-Ljbffr
