Job Description: A full service creditor's rights law firm with a national bankruptcy practice is seeking an attorney with experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases. Ideal candidates are located in Atlanta, GA, or within commutable distance. A qualified candidate must have a working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure. However, we are open to training the right team-oriented candidate with less experience. License to practice law in GeorgiaSpecific Job Responsibilities: Primarily manages bankruptcy routine mattersDraft and review all pleadings and claims filed in the particular matterAttends scheduled hearingsResponds to general firm wide bankruptcy inquiriesReview filings on behalf of the clientsMonitoring of all electronic filings (ECFs)Resolving routine bankruptcy matters such as Motions for Relief, Objections to Confirmation, Proofs of claim, etc.Regular communication with the client, opposing counsel and the CourtRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of bankruptcy rules/laws and general Creditor Rights lawsComputer Literacy ProfessionalismKeyboard Skills Attention to detailTime Management Communication SkillsRequired Education and Training: Law degree – JDBarred in GALocated in Atlanta, GA (or within commutable distance)Admitted to District and/or Bankruptcy Courts in GA#J-18808-Ljbffr
