Position Level: Two, exempt Salaried PositionResponsibilityThe Marketing Manager position is responsible for planning and implementing marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties:Job DutiesDevelops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve company objectives for products and services.Development of content for marketing promotionsProvides art direction for all media including print and digitalStay current on changes in insurance laws affecting company programs and member/employer responsibilities.Prepare proposals for new and renewal business opportunitiesPlans and develops advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic/digital media, and direct mail.Develops and recommends product positioning and relationship pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.Ensures effective control of marketing results and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.Evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.Coordinates tradeshow booth displaysMonitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners in employee benefits, property & casualty insurance, captive insurance, meetings and association management industries.Prepares marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.Establishes and maintains a consistent Elevanta image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products and services.Identifies new target markets and develops plan for engagementDirects product research and development for new association programs and servicesAll other duties as assignedExperience and EducationFive (5)years related experience in insurance sales, affinity programs and/or association programs and servicesExperience with association, franchise or restaurant insurance programs a plusExtensive experience in both property & casualty insurance as well as employer sponsored group benefitsSalesforce or other CRM programsProficient in Web design, social media and digital marketing including email marketingVideo production and editing experience preferredAdvanced knowledge of MS Office software and project management softwareConsiderable knowledge of grammar, punctuation and spelling to prepare and edit major proposals, reports and correspondencePosition requires up to 25% travel to conventions, tradeshows, client meetings, quarterly board meetings and annual meetings#J-18808-Ljbffr
