ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in court appearances, hearings, and trials.Take and defend depositions.Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.Prepare and argue motions.Draft, edit, and review pleadings, settlement agreements, parenting plans, and final orders.Perform legal research to support case strategy.Counsel clients on their options and help them choose the best course of action.Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation.Manage cases independently from intake through resolution.Provide weekly case updates in the case management system and/or in meetings with the internal legal team.Follow firm policies and procedures.QualificationsActive Georgia bar license in good standing.At least 5 years of family law experience.Demonstrated ability to run a case independently from intake through resolution, including depositions, discovery, and contested hearings.Empathetic and compassionate with clients, yet tenacious in advocacy.A drive for excellence and growth.Compensation$120 per hour (commensurate with experience).#J-18808-Ljbffr
