Leveraging the college's and university's talent and resources, UCSC focuses on children, families, schools and communities.BenefitsGenerous benefits, including health, dental, vision, tuition assistance, retirement, etc.A knowledge-sharing organization that works collaboratively with diverse partners.Professional development opportunities and mentorship.A rapidly growing center within an academic setting.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert coaching to early childhood teachers on the Early Learning Matters curriculum, guiding use of ELM curriculum materials, classroom organization, modeling, observing implementations of lessons, examining teacher implementation for appropriate implementation, providing individualized feedback on teacher practice, assessing teachers, providing communication to guide teachers through the process and supporting teachers to complete/submit research/evaluation documents.Attend project meetings and write reports of coaching process.Attend and present at a professional learning workshop for teachers.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Hiring QualificationsBachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, education, or related field is required.Preferred Hiring QualificationsMinimum of three years of teaching experience in an early childhood education setting.Experience mentoring, supervising, or coaching teachers.Master's degree in education, early childhood education, child development, or a related field required.Experience facilitating professional development and supporting adult learners in both group and individual formats.Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to flexible scheduling needs.Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Metro Atlanta area; reliable transportation required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
