What You'll Do:
- Sales Development: Grow material handling sales with key accounts, OEMs, and EPC firms
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic accounts to secure Martin material handling product specification
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Martin field sales, marketing, and regional operations to increase awareness of Strategic Accounts' preferred OEMs
- Business Development: Identify and drive material handling CAPEX opportunities with strategic accounts and direct sales
- Product Positioning: Secure "First Fit" specification opportunities that position Martin products for long-term aftermarket success
- Product Management Support: Partner with Martin Product Management to identify and capitalize on product and application growth opportunities
- Industry Engagement: Engage in industry discussions, product training, and sales presentations at internal, regional, and national events
- Strategic Input: Contribute to the Martin material handling Specialist Team by sharing insights and strategies for key account management
What You'll Bring:- Education & Expertise: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a Business degree with strong mechanical aptitude
- Sales & Business Experience: Proven ability to drive sales, develop strategic partnerships, and grow key accounts
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of material handling applications and industry trends
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal teams and external partners
- Problem-Solving & Initiative: Self-motivated with the ability to assess situations, make informed decisions, and drive results.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering value and supporting Martin's reputation for quality and service
- Flexibility & Travel: Willingness to travel extensively as required for customer engagement and industry events
