Position OverviewThe position supports the income tax compliance process for all Porsche North American entities, including consolidated 1120, 1065s, and LLC returns. The role assists in planning and analyzing the tax impact of business transactions, legal changes, and tax strategies. It supports business units with tax‑related decisions that impact the company's tax position and partners with Finance/Accounting to ensure compliance with tax procedures and gather required data.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTax CompliancePrepare and file U.S. Federal and state 1120s for all group companies and assigned entities.Prepare and file 1065s for the finance company partnerships.Prepare and file LLC returns.Prepare and file Canadian federal and provincial income tax returns for assigned companies.Calculate tax depreciation for all North American companies.Prepare and file federal and state income tax estimated payments.Prepare and file miscellaneous returns as needed.Tax Audit SupportAssist with resolving notices and audits for North American entities.Business Unit SupportReconcile assigned tax general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.Support 1099 reporting for the finance companies.Support fringe benefit reporting by preparing company car inclusion calculation, gross‑up calculation, and W‑2 reconciliation with payroll.Ensure timely and accurate tax payment and refund entries.Partner with business unit personnel regarding tax compliance needs and procedural issues.Tax Planning SupportResearch and resolve issues arising in the compliance process.Structure financial and tax return data to support planning initiatives.Investigate and propose solutions to tax technical and accounting problems.Document tax research and accounting conclusions in memorandum.Analyze proposed tax laws, calculate impacts, and implement new legislation.Translate technical tax matters into non‑technical terms for reporting units and assist in issue resolution.Tax Internal Control SupportSupport the tax internal control process and update documentation as required.Tax AccountingAssist in preparing quarterly and annual IAS 12 calculation for the North American consolidated group.Reconcile deferred tax balances.All other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required. CPA preferred; MST or JD a plus.Experience3+ years of income tax experience in a top‑tier public accounting firm or large corporate tax department.SkillsExcellent computer skills: Access, Excel, Word, OneSource, tax research software, fixed‑asset software; SAP experience a plus.Excellent organizational skills to meet detailed reporting requirements.Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team and with external professionals and state agencies.Schedule / ShiftHybridTravel0% required travel.Salary RangeSalary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000.
