Job DescriptionRC Andersen, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support our mission critical operations in Atlanta, GA.Essential FunctionsImplements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations; responsibilities include safety, health, and environmental matters.Monitors effectiveness of the safety management system and progress against safety performance standards.Leads and provides functional management for safety personnel.Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices, fire prevention, and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other materials.Inspects organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures, and follows up to ensure implementation.Ensures that there are appropriate processes to promptly alert the business to significant accidents and incidents; when appropriate, is involved in investigations and reports findings.Compiles and submits accident reports required by regulatory agencies.Produces safety management reports monthly, quarterly, and annually on safety performance.Reviews accident and incident reports and investigation reports, identifies trends, and ensures appropriate response to prevent recurrence.Regularly meets with safety personnel to monitor and review management of the function.Reports on safety performance for the business unit at management team meetings.Consults and liaises with Corporate Safety Director on the management of safety in the division/business unit.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or a related degree, or equivalent work experience.5–10 years of general construction experience.OSHA 30‑hour training required.A board‑certified safety credential from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST) preferred.Current OSHA 500 certification preferred.BenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceHealth Savings AccountHealthcare Flexible Spending AccountDependent Care Flexible Spending Account401(k) retirement plan with employer matchLife & AD&D InsuranceLong‑term Disability InsuranceShort‑term Disability InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceAccident InsuranceHospital Indemnity InsuranceHome & Auto InsuranceFamily SupportPre‑tax Paid Parking/Public TransportationPaid time off: 2 weeks for Non‑Exempt and three weeks for ExemptTime Away Benefits8 Paid HolidaysGroup LegalEmployee Stock Purchase PlanIdentity Theft ProtectionPet InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramDisclaimerThe salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
