You'll play a key role in ensuring our accounting operations run smoothly and accurately. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing structure with variety and who is eager to collaborate across teams. You'll be based in the heart of Atlanta Tech Village.What will you do? Carpool is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions and support our operations. This is a new role that will help build out foundational processes within the accounting department. You'll handle day-to-day accounting activities while also identifying opportunities to strengthen workflows, improve accuracy, and scale with our growth. You will wear multiple hats beyond the core responsibilities and gain broad exposure to building and running a business.Responsibilities Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure general ledger accuracyOwn the accounting side of claims by partnering with the claims team to record, reconcile, and report claim-related transactionsAssist invoicing workflows for key customers, including running reports, performing reconciliations, and maintaining documentationAssist with month-end close processesReconcile various balance sheet accountsSupport the collections process, including aging analysis, escalation, and customer outreachServe as a key accounting point-of-contact for other departments, helping answer financial questions and resolve cross-functional issuesSupport Controller with audits, ad hoc projects, and reporting requests as neededQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting2-5 years of accounting experienceNetSuite experience preferredProficient in ExcelPositive attitude, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentAbility to thrive under deadlines, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgencyCreative problem-solving, detail-oriented and strong organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTotal Compensation Package At Carpool Logistics, we offer a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, bonus, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401K, etc.).
