The Center protects public health from threats and supports communities worldwide.Project DescriptionThis opportunity provides a mentored learning experience focused on developing a strategic evaluation plan for environmental health programs. The participant will engage in research and training activities related to rural health resilience, extreme heat and community health education toolkit, literature synthesis, scientific communication, and community resilience concepts.Learning ObjectivesThe participant will gain training in environmental health science, natural hazards preparedness, public health program evaluation, partnership engagement, and applied research methods. They will develop skills in literature review, data interpretation, translation of public health concepts into educational materials, presentations, dashboards, and data visualizations.
