Overview Our client, a well-established and fast-growing franchise organization, is seeking an Accountant to join their accounting team in a hybrid role based in Athens or Atlanta, GA .This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records for various business unitsPrepare monthly and quarterly financial reports , including marketing and coop budgetsPerform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and complianceManage accounts payable and receivable , ensuring timely payments and collectionsProvide payroll support in collaboration with the HR teamSupport franchise-level coop budgeting and financial trackingAssist with both front-end accounting (sales, inventory) and back-end processes (general ledger, reporting)Ideal Candidate / Qualifications 2+ years of relevant accounting experienceSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applicationsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAble to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentThis is a hybrid position , requiring time in both the Athens and Atlanta offices .
