Job DescriptionAs a Senior Manager in our Tax Accounting Services (TAS) department, you will leverage your experience to manage and execute ASC 740 projects. Your responsibilities will encompass managing staff, overseeing document receipt, reviewing taxable income calculations, auditing the client's income tax provision, fostering team growth, serving as a mentor, and contributing to special projects.ResponsibilitiesReview income tax provisions under ASC 740Document tax positions and analyses under FIN 48Coordinate subject matter experts (international, state, local, and M&A)Review taxable income by entity and consolidationManage multiple projects and meet deadlinesDeliver professional services to clients, including consulting, tax planning, compliance, and researchDevelop high‑level relationships with clients, prospects, and referral sources, while performing detailed tasks on engagementsManage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements as well as serve as a business advisor to the clientResearch and consult on complex tax mattersWork with state‑of‑the‑art equipment to assist clients with implementing tax‑efficient strategies across all operationsWork directly with clients, partners, and tax engagement teamsLead, mentor, and coach interns, staff, senior staff, and managersManage staff to ensure tasks/projects are completedEnsure requested documents are received timelyReview taxable income calculationsWork with clients to manage processes, timelines, and deliverablesReview/Audit the client's income tax provisionReview tax account rollforwards and reconciliations to OTPEnsure disclosures are presented accuratelyFill out audit steps in audit databaseInvoice clients monthlyTeach younger staff technical aspects of ASC 740Assist team management with special projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredActive CPA license required8+ years of experience working on ASC 740 projects in public accounting or corporate/public blend requiredONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP) Software experience is requiredHybrid Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a hybrid work environment that balances remote flexibility with regular in‑person collaboration.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Crowe is not sponsoring for work authorization at this time.The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
