He or she will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing new franchise partners who share our vision and values. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, relationship building, and market analysis to drive successful franchise recruitment efforts.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSEssential duties may include but are not limited to the following:Work with existing franchisees to assist them in additional development opportunities; coordinate existing franchise growth request with the Expansion Review CommitteeDrive brand expansion by securing new franchisees and cultivating strategic partnershipsAnswer questions, set up and participate in teleconferences, work with prospective and current franchisees, and pertinent Support Center team members in efforts to close the salesFollow up with candidates and assist in moving them along in the decision-making processOversee the franchise documentation process for turnover to administrationBuild and maintain professional relationships with franchisees that are mutually beneficial to both the Support Center and franchisees, which ultimately will drive commitment and measurable resultsServe as primary contact for new multi-unit operators and existing franchisees; work through the sales process to turn leads into candidates and candidates into franchiseesEndeavor to meet or exceed sales objectives as outlined in the company's strategic planCommunicate FDD requirements with candidate, direct them to key information found in document, while complying with FTC regulationsReview all franchise applications, personal net worth financial statements, credit worthiness and background history to ensure candidate meets or exceeds minimum requirementsEmphasize throughout the process that the foundation of ZFL is our Culture, Mission and Core ValuesDevelop a perspective, during the courting process, on a candidate's viability within ZFL's culture and communicates concerns so an informed decision can be madeAnticipate potential conflict between new and existing franchisees as related to growth and communicate the situation as needed to the executive teamReport progress on candidate status as well as “pipeline” development status to the executive teamKEY COMPETENCIESExpert knowledge of the sales process cycle in restaurant industryExpert negotiator with ability to close dealsStrong understanding of the Franchise Disclosure DocumentWorking knowledge on the competitive position of the Company system to other restaurant conceptsWorking knowledge of financial statements and the ability to interpret credit evaluations and demographicsAbility to confidently make decisions, demonstrating good judgmentInnate situational awareness and the ability to read peopleAbility to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization and all types of peopleAbility to foster meaningful business relationships both internally and externallyOrganizational and multi-tasking skills; must be able to handle multiple deals at one timePrevious leadership experienceCRM knowledgeEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINESEducation: Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience: 7+ years in franchise development within QSR or restaurant industrySALARY RANGE: $155,000 - $180,000Zaxby's Franchising LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in employment decisions based on any factor protected by federal, state, or local law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
