CDS will perform Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) interrogations, arrhythmia interpretation of ECG, measured data, evaluation of arrhythmia burden, diagnostics interpretation, and programming of cardiac device, reporting to an EP Provider. Will also manage patient diagnostics in manufacturer remote monitoring websites, analyze and manage transmissions, enter data in the electronic medical record (EMR), maintain data integrity with the system, and use judgment to direct to EP Providers when appropriate. Support for CIED management will be under the direction of supervising EP provider, Lead Cardiac Device Specialist and/or EP Manager.QualificationsEducationA certificate of completion from an approved cardiac device technical school that provides a formal curriculum of education and training in cardiac pacing, defibrillation, cardiac resynchronization therapy, and electrophysiology.
