ACCOUNTANTWe are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a well‑established, mission‑driven organization with a growing financial platform. This role blends traditional accounting responsibilities with exposure to investment‑related activities, supporting multiple entities and ensuring reliable, compliant financial data.ResponsibilitiesExecute monthly close responsibilities, including posting journal entries and maintaining general ledger accuracy.Prepare and review reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely completion.Support payroll‑related accounting and ensure proper recording of associated transactions.Assist in producing internal financial reports and schedules for leadership review.Contribute to annual audit preparation and assist with tax‑related documentation.Handle accounting activity tied to investment operations, including tracking returns, fees, and related entries.Maintain detailed schedules and supporting documentation for financial activity.Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial information.Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency.Participate in periodic meetings related to financial operations and provide insights as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting.4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience within mid‑size or large organizations.Exposure to investment, fund, or financial services accounting.Experience supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and reporting processes.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working across multiple systems.Understanding of accounting standards and financial controls in complex environments.Comfortable digging into issues, researching discrepancies, and driving resolution.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Effective communicator who collaborates well with both finance and non‑finance partners.Track record of stability and commitment in prior roles.Pay Transparency NoticeThe compensation for this role depends on a variety of factors including the individual's skills, experience, training, licensure, and location.
