The ideal candidate will be deeply interested in markets and investing, intellectually curious, performance-oriented, collaborative, commercial, competitive, and highly driven.The analyst is expected to become the sector expert, balancing in-depth knowledge of an expansive coverage universe with multiple other responsibilities supporting the broader success of the Invesco Fixed Income platform. Key responsibilities include generating well-supported investment recommendations, conducting in-depth fundamental investment analysis, developing fundamental credit opinions, using credit valuation analysis and sector knowledge to inform relative value views, assigning allocation ratings to each credit in the analyst's coverage universe, tracking and communicating corporate updates across the coverage universe and maintaining a constant dialogue with portfolio managers and investment colleagues across the Invesco Fixed Income platform. The analyst will also be responsible for monitoring broader market and sector risks and opportunities and proactively communicating these to the fixed income platform. This role requires an individual with a deep passion for markets and investing, a positive attitude, a team-focused & commercial mentality, extremely high standards of personal excellence & integrity and keen attention to detail. The analyst is expected to actively maintain and communicate proprietary investment ratings, sector views, investment recommendations and other risk assessments.
