Job Summary Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their Atlanta Georgia Insurance Coverage practice. As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with their experienced attorneys to analyze and litigate complex insurance coverage issues. You will be responsible for researching and drafting memoranda, motions, and other documents related to insurance coverage disputes. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in insurance coverage law.Primary Job Duties File review and legal analysis of claims and causes of actionAdvising clients through the claim investigation process, including the retention of consultants, conducting Examinations Under Oath, and opining on coverageExtensive legal research and drafting of substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefsRegularly representing clients in court, at arbitrations, mediations, and in depositionsDrafting and responding to discovery requestsExpert witness retention and collaborationTrial preparation and attendanceCollaborate closely with partners, clients, and stakeholders to deliver strategic and practical legal adviceManage deadlines and assignments with a high level of ownership and independenceKey Competencies Communicating - Legal Professionals provide the information required by others in a concise, direct, and unambiguous way.
