Job Summary Perform Workers Compensation, subrogation and recovery tasks within the claims handling guidelines and in accordance with established Best Practices.Responsibilities Identify subrogation opportunities through review of loss information and FNOL data.Place carriers on notice of subrogation.Perfect liens and manage contact with claimants and their legal representatives.Obtain documents supporting subrogation from clients.Submit demands for subrogation.Affect subrogation recovery.Set reserves, post recoveries, and track financial elements.Perform tasks as directed by leadership.Mentor team members to enhance technical knowledge and efficiency.Collaborate with leadership and legal counsel on litigation, arbitration, and mediation strategies.Qualifications Required High school diploma, GED, or 2 years of college or equivalent work experience.2‑5 years of Workers Compensation Subrogation Recovery Experience.Experience handling multi‑jurisdictional workers' compensation subrogation.Familiarity with New York Labor Law/New York Scaffold Law.Additional experience with construction‑related and complex claims.Basic proficiency with email applications and common office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Preferred Skills Auto subrogation recovery experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Advanced analytical, decision‑making, and negotiation skills.Computer proficiency.Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing.Ability to manage relationships in a fast‑paced environment.Good analytical abilities to review, exercise judgment, and evaluate claims with minimal supervision.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions and respond efficiently.Time‑management, organizational, and prioritization skills.Independence, flexibility, and creativity.Equipment Operated/Used Computer, 10‑key, printer, copier, fax/scanner machine and other office equipment.Special Equipment or Clothing Appropriate office attire.#J-18808-Ljbffr
