Overview Empire & Co. is seeking a Sales & Business Development Representative to join our growing Walls team in our Atlanta Office. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and project coordination support throughout the project lifecycle in a timely and accurate manner. Responsibilities include quote and order management, order tracking, installation coordination, project follow-up, and client communication. The Sales & Business Development Representative will partner closely with sales, operations, vendors, and clients to support projects from initial order through installation and project completion while helping ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Sales & Project CoordinationSupport the sales team throughout all phases of project executionAcquire vendor discounts and verify pricing (CDA)Assist with specification review and verificationComplete quote and order entry documentationComplete required order header information (sales codes, taxes, ship-to information, carton/uncarton requirements)Complete applicable order instructions and supporting documentationColor code floor plans and organize countsRequest Certificates of Insurance (COI)Manage and reserve COM and COL requirementsManage COD processes and handle auto pricingAssist with labor quote requestsEnsure proper approvals prior to quote conversionRequest proforma invoices when deposits are requiredEnsure orders are properly released within HedbergOrder & Project Follow-UpConfirm receipt of purchase orders with vendorsConfirm vendor acknowledgementsCreate and manage vendor requests for depositsLead resolution of acknowledgement discrepanciesCreate and maintain order status reports throughout project executionCoordinate timelines and communicate updates across teamsPre-InstallationCreate Operations requests (union/non-union; standard time/overtime)Assist in preparing installation packages and project documentationInstallation & CloseoutMaintain punch list documentation and communicate updates to clientsOrder punch list items and coordinate approvals where applicableCreate laser and RA tickets to support freight claims when necessarySupport installation completion and project closeout activitiesPost InstallationCoordinate invoicing upon delivery and installation completionProcess day-two orders and follow-up itemsMaintain ongoing client communication to support satisfaction and issue resolutionAdditional ResponsibilitiesInput and maintain customer and vendor recordsRequest and coordinate warranty informationPrepare Product Mix ReportsQualifications High School Diploma plus 1–3 years of professional experience requiredBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredPrior experience in project coordination, commercial interiors, walls, architectural products, furniture dealership, construction, customer support, or related industries preferredFurniture dealership and/or Walls experience is a plus but not requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with Hedberg or similar ERP/order management systems preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to take initiative and think proactivelyComfortable handling multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detailStrong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities#J-18808-Ljbffr
