Branch Manager – Retail BankingWe are currently seeking a Branch Manager – Retail Banking for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.ResponsibilitiesLead a high‑performing, customer‑focused branch culture that promotes service excellence, accountability, and employee engagementOversee daily branch operations, compliance, security, cash management, and adherence to bank policies and proceduresManage branch staff through effective performance management and ongoing developmentHandle annual performance appraisals for branch staff and ensure adherence to company policies and proceduresDeliver exceptional customer service by identifying needs, resolving issues, and providing appropriate banking solutionsEnsure audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls through ongoing monitoring and reportingRepresent the bank within the community through networking, business development, and community engagement activitiesMaintain knowledge of bank products and services while supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvementQualifications2–5 years of proven experience in branch management or a similar leadership role within the banking or financial services industryStrong knowledge of bank products, banking operations, policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and operational risk managementProven ability to lead, coach, and develop high‑performing teams in a customer‑focused environmentResults‑driven approach with demonstrated success managing branch performance, customer relationships, and operational efficiencyExcellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, conflict‑resolution, organizational, and customer service skillsStrong analytical, problem‑solving, time management, and multi‑tasking abilities with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointNotary certification preferredExperience with Alkami is a plusLewis James Professional is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
