Your primary mission is to maintain our "license to operate" across the Americas, ensuring we meet the rigorous demands of state‑level Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs) and specialized Gaming licenses. You will act as the Regulatory Compliance lead for our MALPB (Major Americas Limited Partnership Board) entity, ensuring governance, reporting, and regulatory engagements are executed to the highest standard. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to manage a high volume of recurring filings across states.Key Responsibilities Americas Strategy & Reporting Horizon Scanning: Monitor legislative changes at both the federal (FinCEN, FINTRAC) and state levels. Assess how new bills (e.g. updates to the Uniform Money Services Act) impact our business, and project manage change as required.Call Reports: Oversee the timely submission of MSB Call Reports and state‑specific quarterly/annual filings.MTL & Gaming License Management Renewal Cycle Ownership: Own the end‑to‑end renewal process for Checkout.com US State Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs) and specialized Gaming licenses.NMLS Management: Act as the primary administrator for the NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System), ensuring all company records, biographical updates, and financial disclosures are current.Gaming Compliance: Lead the Gaming license maintenance required by state gaming boards.Entity Governance & MALPB Support: Ensure compliance with our Global Entity Governance framework. Track regulatory commitments and maintain the entity's good standing with all oversight bodies.Regulatory Exams: Lead the 'war room' for state‑level regulatory examinations. Coordinate document production, manage examiner queries, and oversee the implementation of any Management Action Plans (MAPs).Project & Stakeholder Support: Provide project management support for regulatory, licensing, and internal change initiatives. Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Operations to gather information, track deliverables, and prepare materials for governance forums and senior stakeholders.What We're Looking For Experience: 6‑8+ years in Regulatory Ops or Compliance, with deep experience in the US MSB/MTL space.Licensing Expertise: Hands‑on experience with NMLS and a proven track record of managing multi‑state license renewals and Gaming board requirements.Project Management: Exceptional ability to manage high‑volume, recurring deadlines and a "compliance calendar" involving hundreds of filings per year.MALPB/Governance Knowledge: Experience supporting entity‑level governance and board‑level reporting in a regulated financial services environment.Tech Savvy: Ability to leverage automation (e.g. JIRA/Confluence) to manage the massive data requirements of 50‑state reporting.Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarise regulatory developments.Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced, global environment.Why Join Us?
