TherapistPosition SummaryClinical assessments and provide therapy for children, adolescents affected by abuse/neglect, individuals, and family members with mental, emotional and addiction issues. Activities will include the provision of individual, family therapy, crisis intervention, in-targeted case management, client advocacy, court appearances, home visits, conducting clinical assessments, prevention, and education.Essential FunctionsDemonstrates understanding of the Department of Human Services guidelines for providersIntensive in-home therapy to maintain and stabilize a child's permanency.Demonstrates understanding of the overall nature, course, and treatment of mental illness.Demonstrates knowledge of co-occurring illness process.Provide substance abuse treatment and education.Assists in formulating a service planConducts problem solving in individual sessions to assist clients in addressing challenges (i.e., domestic violence, trauma, anger /stress management, enhanced behavior management for children/youth, grief counseling, separation issues, enhance methods of appropriate disciplinary techniques).Utilize Electronic Medical Record for clinical documentation of each visit/contact and utilize evidence-based practice modalities and clinical tools/curriculumServes as an advocate to acquire supportive services for clients.Able to document in BIRP formatOther duties as assignedPosition RequirementsLMSW, LAPC, LAMFT - Associate Licensed Professional in the state of Georgia or Master Degree in Human Services - licensed eligibleJob TypePart-time/ContractualPay$35.00 per hourScheduleChoose your own hoursWeekends as neededMust have reliable transportationWork LocationCommunity Based#J-18808-Ljbffr
