We are seeking a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Inspector to conduct routine testing and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems. This role is critical for ensuring client facilities remain compliant with NFPA 25 standards and Georgia state fire codes. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a deep understanding of fire safety regulations and a commitment to protecting lives and property.Key ResponsibilitiesInspections & Testing: Conduct mandated weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.Compliance Monitoring: Perform required water-flow tests, main drain tests, and fire pump tests in accordance with NFPA 25.Deficiency Reporting: Identify and document system leaks, corrosion, or mechanical failures; provide detailed recommendations for corrective actions.Documentation: Utilize mobile inspection software (e.g., Building Reports) to generate accurate reports for building owners and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).Client Coordination: review inspection results with facility managers and coordinate with the service department for necessary repairs.Safety Adherence: Ensure all testing is performed safely, including proper signaling to central monitoring stations to avoid false alarms.Qualifications & ExperienceLicensing: Must possess a valid Georgia Fire Sprinkler Inspector License (requires NICET Level II or higher in Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems).Experience: 3–5 years of experience specifically in the inspection and testing of water-based fire protection systems.Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of NFPA 25, 13, and 20 standards.Physical Requirements: Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 lbs.Drivers License: Clean driving record and valid license for travel throughout the Atlanta metro area.Field-Based: Daily travel to commercial, industrial, and residential sites across Atlanta, Marietta, and Sandy Springs.Flexible Schedule: Full-time role that may occasionally include early morning or after-hours inspections to minimize client business disruption.Preferred SkillsNICET Level III in Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems.Cross-training in fire alarm or fire extinguisher inspections.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and system schematics.Strong communication skills for interfacing with AHJs and property owners.#J-18808-Ljbffr
