Position Summary The Physician Liaison Director is responsible for leading and optimizing SENTA Partners' enterprise Physician Liaison function across all markets. This role provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and performance management for a team of Physician Liaisons and Physician Liaison Leads, ensuring consistent execution of physician engagement strategies that strengthen referral relationships and drive practice growth.
As a working leader, the Physician Liaison Director also maintains an active field presence within the Metro Atlanta market, directly supporting referral development, physician relationship management, and growth initiatives for SENTA's ENT and Allergy practices. This individual serves as both a strategic partner and hands-on resource, addressing referral challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting high-priority markets as business needs dictate.
The Physician Liaison Director partners closely with Operations, Marketing, Clinical Leadership, and Growth teams to align physician engagement efforts with organizational objectives, establish scalable processes and performance standards, and create a high-performing, accountable culture focused on referral growth and exceptional physician experience.
This role is critical to SENTA Partners' continued growth and success in achieving its vision of becoming the industry's leading organization for ENT and Allergy physicians.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and develop SENTA's enterprise Physician Liaison team, providing direction, coaching, performance management, and operational oversight.
- Establish consistent physician engagement strategies, messaging, performance standards, and best practices across all markets.
- Partner with the VP of Growth and practice leadership to align liaison activities with organizational growth objectives.
- Develop scalable processes, accountability measures, and performance frameworks that support referral growth and operational excellence.
Physician Engagement & Market Growth
- Drive physician engagement and referral development strategies that increase market share, strengthen provider relationships, and support practice growth.
- Identify referral growth opportunities and implement targeted outreach initiatives across existing and emerging markets.
- Maintain an active field presence within Metro Atlanta, serving as a working Physician Liaison to support growth priorities and key physician relationships.
- Address referral barriers, service concerns, and relationship gaps to improve physician experience and referral retention.
Performance & Collaboration
- Monitor referral trends, physician engagement activities, and market performance to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Leverage data and reporting to measure team effectiveness, inform strategy, and enhance referral growth outcomes.
- Partner with Operations, Marketing, Clinical Leadership, Access, and Practice Leadership teams to optimize referral flow and physician relationships.
- Serve as the bridge between executive strategy and field execution, ensuring enterprise alignment and consistent market performance.

Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in physician liaison, healthcare business development, pharmaceutical sales, or provider relations
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing field-based teams
- Demonstrated success in multi-market or enterprise-level healthcare organizations preferred
SPECIFIC SKILLS
- Strong understanding of referral networks, MSO structures, or specialty care ecosystems
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on field execution
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be willing to travel and actively support Metro Atlanta field operations
