The OpportunityGIK is at a growth inflection point, and we need a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our factory floor. We are looking for someone to play a key role in process improvement, product enhancements, and new product development, working cross-functionally to bring new concepts into production.Due to strong growth, we are currently facing a significant backlog and need a floor leader who can audit our production processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and implement systems to guarantee on-time shipments and increase capacity to accommodate incremental growth. As a global business, the Manufacturing Supervisor will also interface with our production leaders in the U.K. and Poland. You will directly manage a team in Atlanta of 20-25 FTEs.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all factory floor employees across departments (product preparation, wrapping, and shipping) to meet daily output targets and quality standardsCreate a great work culture to drive employee retentionSupervise and coordinate daily operations across CNC, Framing, Sewing, Wrapping, and Shipping departmentsDevelop and execute plans to improve production throughput, reduce waste, and optimize labor efficiency; document all SOPs and training materialsManage production schedules to meet daily output targets and customer delivery expectationsMaintain and optimize equipment, scheduling preventative maintenance to ensure high uptimeMonitor quality metrics, minimize returns and customer complaints, and drive a culture of continuous improvementTrain, coach, and develop team members to improve performance, accountability, and teamworkIdentify and resolve any operational challengesSupport new product development by fabricating and testing new designs from leadership and sales teamsEvaluate new materials to improve product quality and/or manufacturing efficiency without compromising standardsMaintain and enforce 5S and overall workplace organizationCollaborate with Customer Service to resolve customer issues and drive corrective actionsUtilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) to track production schedules, KPIs, inventory, and reportingTake ownership of monthly inventory and cycle count processesWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleConsistent achievement of daily production targetsImproved throughput and reduced bottlenecks across departmentsStrong team engagement and accountability on the production floorHigh-quality output with minimal rework or defectsMeasurable improvements in efficiency, organization (5S), and process flowFirst 90-Day GoalsAudit the current CNC-to-framing cycle times and eliminate material staging delaysIncrease weekly shop throughput by 25% through productivity improvementsReduce order lead times to 10 daysKey Qualifications8+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory roleStrong leadership, communication, and team development skillsExperience with production scheduling and workflow optimizationWorking knowledge of CNC operations (preferred)Familiarity with framing, sewing, wrapping, and/or shipping processes (preferred)Experience supporting product development and process improvements (preferred)Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard business softwareAbility to work in a fast-paced, made-to-order production environmentCompensation and BenefitsBase salary between $95,0000 and $105,000, commensurate with experienceYear-end bonus opportunity based on individual performance and Company performanceCompetitive benefits including 401K, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and 15 days paid time off#J-18808-Ljbffr
