Operating Room Registered Nurse Contract Position

Qualifications and Experience
- Active and valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Proficient in perioperative nursing procedures and sterile technique
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Schedule

Primary Responsibilities
- Circulate and assist during various surgical procedures, ensuring proper handling of instruments and supplies
- Monitor patients throughout operative phases, from pre-op assessments to post-surgical recovery
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Keep accurate intraoperative documentation and provide thorough patient updates to families and care teams
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and act within scope of RN licensure
