Description
Proof of the Pudding (POP) is proud to provide the food and beverage services at Georgia International Convention Center. POP offers fine-quality concessions and catering for meetings, exhibit hall booths, conventions, and special events. Georgia International Convention Center includes a 9,800 sq. ft. state-of-the-art culinary arts center and Georgia's largest ballroom at 40,000 sq. ft.
We are seeking a friendly and dependable cashier to join our team at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with minor card issues by communicating with management or directing customers appropriately.
- Maintain a welcoming, courteous, and professional presence at all times.
- Help manage the flow of customers to prevent crowding or delays.
- Keep the entry area clean, organized, and presentable.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must live near College Park, GA.
- Must be available during events at the GICC.
- Customer service or food service experience preferred.
- Must enjoy interacting with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
Specialized Qualifications:
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
Work Environment:
This position will move in and out of the kitchen and food service area including but not limited to coolers, freezers, and other sanitary places.
Uniform Requirements:
Adherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing at the check-in point.
- Light bending, reaching, or lifting of small equipment or signage.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
