The Project & Technical Support Engineer supports Mirion's Radiation Monitoring System (RMS) customer projects through the creation of test plans, test procedures, user manuals, engineering analyses, and other project documents. The role participates in all phases of design of custom engineering projects, reviews drawings for conformance to specification requirements, leads post‑production and factory acceptance testing of customer projects, and provides follow‑on engineering support to customers after delivery, including occasional onsite support for training or commissioning.Specific RequirementsBachelor's degree in nuclear (preferred), electrical, mechanical or a related field of instrument engineering.3‑5 years of relevant work experience.Basic knowledge of nuclear radiation characteristics, radiation instrumentation, radiation detectors and associated electronics (analog and digital) and nuclear analysis.Ability to work with low‑level radioactive material, in accordance with Mirion's instruments radiation materials license requirements. Practical working experience in a nuclear facility is desirable.Strong computer and digital electronics skills. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
