Analyze transcripts to assess whether prerequisites have been met and verify letters of recommendation.Manage, track, and update all applications and maintain both hard and electronic files.Manage the MD Admissions email inbox in rotation with the Admissions Team.Coordinate, schedule, and conduct campus tours in rotation with the Admissions Team.Answer phones and emails in rotation with the Admissions Team.Provide assistance with the coordination and/or support of weekly interview days, committee meetings, workshops, campus tours, online recruitment forums, event announcements, monthly communications, and student ambassador events.Meet with prospective students and advise them on application requirements.Attend and assist with all Admissions events including New Student Orientations, Annual Admissions Committee Workshops, Open Houses, Recruitment Fairs; and also with Student Affairs events such as Commencement, Convocation, Match Day, Class Day, Student Town Hall meetings.Provide support and assistance to the assigned interview day host and maintain the interview schedule.Maintain student files to forward to the Registrar and ensure that files comply with institutional and government requirements.Correspond and develop rapport with prospective students, health advisors, external vendors, and professional organizations.Participate in local and national travel for recruitment to in‑state and out‑of‑state public and private colleges/universities, graduate health fairs, and national conferences; maintain a log of prospective student inquiries and conduct follow‑up.Assist in the development of recruitment and resource materials.Provide additional support to the Director of Admissions and/or Associate Dean for Admissions.Perform additional tasks as assigned.As an exempt employee, some weekend and evening work may be required.The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification; this is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university.Experience: 1–2 years of related experience.Typing: Minimum of 45 WPM and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in higher education, preferably in Registrar Office or Student Affairs Office.Working knowledge and experience using Ellucian Banner Student System, AMCAS, CollegeNET, or any related Student Information System.Prior recruitment experience.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementMorehouse School of Medicine is an equal‑opportunity employer fully committed to achieving a diverse workforce and complies with all Federal and Georgia State laws regarding non‑discrimination and affirmative action.
