Our sales approach begins by working with the end customer to identify and prioritize desired outcomes, select and define use cases, and design the integrated solution.As a Major Projects Sales Representative, you will collaborate with general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers to drive sales for large-scale building automation projects.You will report directly to our Sr Sales Manager, work remotely, and travel up to 50% within California, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii.ResponsibilitiesDrive orders growth within the Construction EcosystemCreate strategic relationships with top general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers, including terms, master purchasing agreements, and partnership agreementsCollaborate with Vertical Account Managers to drive growth on specific opportunitiesProvide an accurate weekly forecast for orders within the Salesforce platform, including overall orders forecast and forecast for Install and Service lines of businessConsistently meet the orders forecast on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basisEstablish professional relationships with appropriate levels of client decision‑makersCreate a robust pipeline of major pursuits within the Construction Ecosystem and track within SalesforceRecommend and implement improvements to achieve sales goalsReview Major Market territory plan bi‑annually (White Space, Relationship map, Strategy focused)Win new customer logos and create a pipeline of new customer targetsMeet or exceed the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on a monthly, quarterly and annual basisQualifications6+ years of sales experience within the Building Automation or Building Technology space (Building Management Systems, HVAC, Fire, Security, and Software)Valid Class Driver's LicenseAbility to travel at least 50% of the time to the sites/customers in the territoryPreferredBachelor's degree in business, engineering, or similarExperience in sales for large/major projectsStrong knowledge of the Construction Ecosystem – general contractors, mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, architectsStrong skills with Salesforce.com platformStrong understanding of direct sales of integrated solutionsOutcome‑based selling skillsDemonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed Annual Operating PlanStrong communication skills and C‑Level selling skillsCompensation & IncentivesSalary range: $130,000–$160,000.
