This position requires the ability to pursue, achieve and complete projects as the project/client manager.Typical responsibilitiesAct as the on-site liaison with the client and communityMaintain excellent client relationsConduct field inspectionsCoordinate and communicate with contractors regarding construction project activityMentor junior staffResponsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricingResponsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budgetManage resources to successfully deliver project to client on time and under budget while meeting or exceeding client expectationsProvide design/technical expertise to projectCoordinate the design function with various team members on the projectEnsure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasksGenerate additional sales through business development activitiesSupervise project review (QA/QC) meetingsAssist with project reports and technical presentationsAttend client, staff and project meetingsEstimate fees, review project plans and specificationsMaintain a safe working environmentEducationHigh school diplomaBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience10+ years of related engineering or construction management experienceSkillsThis position should have strong people and team building skills in order to effectively communicate with clients and other staff.
