Osmose Utilities is currently seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer Steel to join our structural engineering team. This role is designed for experienced engineers who are prepared to take on advanced technical responsibilities, provide independent engineering judgement, and lead medium to large-scale projects. This role will oversee complex restoration and repair designs for steel, concrete, and foundation structures, including unique or non-standard solutions with minimal guidance. This position requires expertise in structural modeling and analysis, execution of PE review responsibilities, and the ability to provide final technical direction. In addition to project leadership, the position plays a key role in mentoring less experienced engineers, refining departmental standards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering practices. This position offers the opportunity to exercise advanced technical skills, grow leadership capabilities and ensure the delivery of safe reliable and cost-effective structural solutions.ResponsibilitiesOversee design development of assigned steel structure repair projects (this includes familiarity with the entire “inspection/engineering/repair” workflow; coordinate all design, modeling and drafting activities utilizing in-house and subcontract engineers and drafters.)Develop and document structural calculations for steel structure repair in conformance to applicable codes, standards and customer requirements; work with fabricators and vendors to utilize the most cost-effective materials and processes on steel structure repairs.Work with Business Development and Product Managers to develop new products and pursue/vet project opportunities;
