Akkodis is seeking a Senior BMC Helix Developer for a Contract job with a client in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate must have deep handson expertise in BMC Helix ITSM, workflow development, and integrations, along with strong experience leadingenterprise ITSM solution development and modernization initiatives.
Rate Range: $68/hour to $71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior BMC Helix Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and enhance BMC Helix ITSM applications, including Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request modules.
- Build and configure forms, workflows, business rules, approvals, notifications, and automation logic using Developer Studio / Innovation Studio.
- Develop APIs and integrations with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP web services.
- Support CMDB and asset management, including reconciliation, normalization, and data integrity processes.
- Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and KPIs, including SQL-based data analysis and monitoring.
- Lead or support platform migration initiatives from legacy Remedy platforms to Helix Innovation Studio.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in BMC Helix / Remedy development.
- Strong expertise in Helix ITSM, Innovation Suite, and workflow development (Active Links, Filters, Escalations).
- Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) and enterprise system connectivity.
- Strong understanding of CMDB design, asset lifecycle management, and ITIL practices.
- Experience with data modeling, SQL, and reporting/dashboard development.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Helix migration or modernization projects
- Prior experience supporting Cox Communications or similar environments
- Exposure to integrations with platforms such as JIRA, monitoring tools, or enterprise IT systems
